Departure at 8:00 am. We begin at Sacsayhuaman, the great Inca fortress with views over Cusco and enormous energetic charge. We continue to Qenqo, a ritual altar carved directly into the rock. Puka Pukara and Tambomachay complete the circuit of huacas in northern Cusco. Lunch included. In the afternoon, visit to the Temple of the Moon, a sacred cave sculpted in rock on the slopes of Sacsayhuaman, one of the most silent and powerful sites in Cusco, ideal for meditation and contemplation. Return to hotel.
Early departure to the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival, guided sunrise meditation session surrounded by mountains and the Urubamba River. Conscious breakfast with local products. Mid-morning, Pachamama earth offering ceremony led by a local shaman: offerings to Pachamama and the Apus with coca leaves, flowers, grains, and natural elements. After the ceremony, intimate coca leaf reading session: the shaman blows the leaves onto a cloth and interprets them, revealing signals about the path, health, or important decisions. Lunch in the Valley. In the afternoon, transfer to Ollantaytambo and train to Aguas Calientes. Check-in and rest to prepare for the citadel at dawn.
Early morning in Aguas Calientes. The first bus rises when the sun has not yet touched the citadel and mist covers the terraces: that is the Machu Picchu the Incas knew. Spiritually-focused guided tour: the Intihuatana, the sacred sundial where the Incas "tied the sun," the Temple of the Sun with its solstice window, and the Temple of the Three Windows, oriented toward the Apus. Optional hike to Intipunku, the Sun Gate, from where Inca pilgrims first glimpsed the citadel after the Inca Trail. Moment of meditation and contemplation in silence before the first waves of visitors arrive. Return to Aguas Calientes, free lunch, and return train. Transfer to Cusco. Night at hotel.
Last morning in Cusco. Visit to Qorikancha, the Inca Temple of the Sun, the most sacred site of the Tahuantinsuyo and the origin point of all the ceques connecting the empire's sanctuaries. Today it shares its space with the convent of Santo Domingo, a superimposition of worlds that summarizes the history of Peru. Tour focused on Inca astronomy, solar alignments, and Andean cosmovision. Visit to San Pedro market to take coca leaves, grains, handicrafts, and local products. Free time at the Plaza de Armas for the journey's closing. Transfer to airport or hotel according to departure time.
The first bus leaves between 5:30 and 6:00 am from Aguas Calientes. Arriving at sunrise is an essential part of the spiritual experience.
