An experience designed for those who want to explore Cusco deeply and without rush. Day one starts at 7:00 am with a visit to the Andean textile art workshops in Chinchero, where local weavers demonstrate the full process of natural dyeing and loom weaving. Then the experimental terraces of Moray, the Maras Salt Mines, and a buffet lunch in the heart of the Sacred Valley. The afternoon closes at Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved Inca fortresses in Peru, before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes. Day two is all Machu Picchu: the most famous Inca citadel in the world, explored with a guide and with enough time to take in every corner.

Departure from Cusco at 7:00 am. First stop in Chinchero for a visit to the Andean textile art workshops: local weavers demonstrate the full process of natural dyeing and loom weaving, a close and authentic experience. Then the circular terraces of Moray, one of the most enigmatic sites of the Sacred Valley, followed by the Maras Salt Mines with their thousands of salt ponds on the Andean hillside. Buffet lunch at a Sacred Valley restaurant with views of the Urubamba River. In the afternoon, visit to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, the only Inca city still inhabited with its original layout. At dusk, board the train to Aguas Calientes. Free night to rest and prepare for the next morning.
Early breakfast at the hotel. Take the bus from Aguas Calientes to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Guided tour of the citadel: the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the agricultural sectors. Free time to explore at your own pace, take photographs, and contemplate one of the most extraordinary landscapes on the planet. In the afternoon, descent by bus to Aguas Calientes, free lunch, and return train to Ollantaytambo. Bus transfer to Cusco.
