Laguna 69 Full Day is recommended for active travelers who enjoy mountain routes and high-Andean landscapes. The hike is physically demanding due to altitude and distance, but rewards visitors with valleys, waterfalls, snow-capped peaks and one of the most iconic turquoise lakes in Ancash.

Día 1 Laguna 69 Full Day

Salida temprano desde Huaraz hacia el Parque Nacional Huascarán. En la ruta se atraviesan paisajes de montaña, lagunas y zonas naturales de la Cordillera Blanca hasta llegar al punto de inicio de la caminata. El trekking hacia Laguna 69 es exigente por la altura y la distancia, pero ofrece vistas de valles, cascadas, nevados y paisajes altoandinos. Al llegar a la laguna, se dispone de tiempo para descanso, fotografías y contemplación del intenso color azul del agua. Posteriormente se realiza el descenso y retorno a Huaraz.

Recommendations

✓ Wear comfortable clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses and suitable footwear.

✓ Be ready at the pickup point a few minutes in advance.

✓ Bring a small backpack with water, a light jacket and necessary personal items.

✓ Acclimatize before taking high-altitude routes, especially in Cusco.

✓ Bring layered clothing, a warm jacket, windbreaker, water and personal snacks.

✓ Wear trekking shoes or sneakers with good traction.
